It's that time of year again, and packaging up hundreds of holiday bows with tinsel and candy canes has me in true Christmas shopping mode! We moms know there aren't enough hours in a day, but luckily there are so many mazing small shops that make holiday shopping easy, fun, and in some cases, life changing. So with that, here's a shopping guide of some of my favorite products to match the free spirit of your adventerous little one.
It's not quite the most wonderful time of the year just yet, but I still am so excited to share our Holiday collection with all of you! Once again the Free Babes Squad and I ventured into the Colorado mountains to capture the sweetest of holiday looks to pair with our luxe velvet, lumberjack plaid, and classic satin bows. I am particularly excited to introduce the velvet bows because we have never done anything like them before. These heirloom pieces were definitely the most time consuming and detailed bow we have ever made, but they turned out beautiful and were totally worth it.
Even though classic bows are always in season, our new Fall Collection was designed specifically to pair with the rich tones of changing leaves and crisp autumn air. To welcome the season of pumpkin picking, cider making and leaf collecting, we've selected pieces from our favorite brands for all your little free spirit's Fall adventures. Enjoy!
Our first ever repeat collaboration is with my favorite: This Little Street. We partnered to create the perfect fall collection, paying homage to national park uniforms, little woodland creatures and the repeat of the popular Scandinavian wallpaper pattern in an updated mustard and hunter green.
I have long admired Emmy Jones' beautiful Instagram feed full of sweet parenting moments in her light-filled, Utah home. I am so excited to partner with her to bring to life her vision for an exclusive collection of Indigo-dyed bows.
When we found out that Jessica Dickinson of Blake Acres is traveling across the pond with her daughter this summer, we couldn't pass up an opportunity to send them to the famed Liberty of London shop to pick out some beautiful fabric for a collaboration.
The recent launch of our 70s-inspired florals and vintage yellow Swiss dot bows left me with retro everything on the brain, so naturally, my mind went to the sort of classic adventures I could recreate for my littles. I figured I'd round up a few of my favorite retro-inspired summer activities for kids—because couldn't we all use a little inspiration to get outside? The answer is yes. Bring on the vintage.
If you haven't already heard of Briar Handmade, then I'm so excited you just discovered them through me. Founder, designer, and mama, Rachel Goode, is one of my dear friends—and her beautiful and functional bonnets are simply perfection. I am so excited to share our latest collaboration, with blue stripes and wildflowers and summer fun sewn into them. The collection has hand-tied schoolgirl bows and bonnets with and without brims. Shop the collection here.
Introducing the Jessica Garvin X Free Babes Handmade collection. The collection has a posy chambray, starfruit yellow, a flower child floral, and watermelon linen—it's bright, bold, and ready for adventures in the summer sunshine. Jessica wanted the collection to be bright and colorful, full of texture, with some pretty pinks and lavenders. Her vision for this was so spot on—we are both so thrilled with how the collection came together. Hope you enjoy the darling photos of Jessica's littles.
We recently launched the Soor Ploom X Free Babes collection and I just love the color palette—navy polka dots, blue stripes, clay, and ochre. The collection coordinates perfectly with Soor Ploom's latest line and have the perfect palette for summer adventures in forests (or parks!), at the zoo, the beach—you get where I'm going with this. With Memorial Day Weekend as the unofficial start of summer, I figured there was no better time to share some fun summer outfit ideas for your littles. Let the adventures begin!
